Upholstery Worx was founded in 2006 and has been a family run business ever since.
Originally it started as a second hand shop, Circular Seconds, selling refurbished furntiture which had been outsourced. This is when the founder realized the gap in the market and employed 3 employees and the journey began as Circular Upholsters.
By 2007 we had outgrown our original premises and had grown to 6 employees
Fast forward to 2021 we currently have 14 employees and a workshop as well as a retail store.
What had origanally begun as a re-upholstery company has now developed into a re-upholstery and manufacturing business.
In 2015 our retail shop, The Sofa Shoppe, was opened and since than has trippled in size.
All our furniture is manufactured and re-upholstered right here in the heart of Port Elizabeth. Each item that comes out of our workshop is handcrafted and is therefore unique in its own way.
